why is cooking so complicated?
well atleast for masakan melayu la kot? like all the sambals and apalah tu sume! where u have to 'tumis the cili bagi keluar minyak', says mama!
i love watching cooking programmes kat tv. and sakit hati giler kay tengok dorang masak cam senang giler!
selama ni i thought if u dont have atleast one hour to prepare a meal then dont bother in the first place! then bile tengok tv, mak ai! kau masak lima minit je! ish! sakit tau hati ni!
and then it hit me!
kita orang melayu pakai bawang cili halia semua! so bawang nak kene kupas and then potong cantik cantik because that is how my momma raised me! ahaha potong kene sama besar okay! kalau tak sama besar kau akan dicop 'tak penah masuk dapur! dah gi main jauh jauh!' ahaha
but these people dalam tv nih, mostly masak pakai salt and pepper jeh! kalau takde pepper tuh rasa nya dorang takleh hidup kot! oh and lagi satu mesti nak kene ade wine! sedih la dorang, depend on wine je untuk dapat taste!
back to the story, bile dah tengok orang dalam tv masak tak sampai lima minit, baru la semangat nak masak tuh berkobar kobar! sampaikan hari tu demam pun nak masak jugak! ahaha tapi buat benda simple je lah! so far i've tried making fettucini carbonara, twice! ahaha but end up i makan paling sikit cause i cant stand the cheesy smell! but then my family said sedap jeh! so i guess its just me la yang tak tahan bau cheese tuh!

and then i tried making sweetcorn pudding! but it turned out to be not so sweet! ahaha sesuai kot untuk orang yang diabetes!

but what i made tu takde the crunchy top, i think dia bake kot yang ni!
ouh and then ade jugak buat puding caramel! that one da a few times jugak la buat! ahaha cilok recipe from dudu! ehehe
and my all time fav is my pancake! yeayy!! i know the recipe by heart da now! kalau bosan je mesti nak buat pancake! pastu takde sape nak makan! ahahha
ade a few things jugak la yang i wanted to try but sampai skang takde rezeki lagi. :(
i shall list it down eh?
- cheesecake, lasagna, mac and cheese, spinach dip and the list goes on and on!
haih! bila la nak ada rumah sendiri nih! cant wait!! cepat la kahwin! ahahhaa lari terus topic!
okay i shall stop here, kalau tak bebel sampai esok pagi!
p/s: saya rasa saya tak suka masak masakan melayu lah! so sape kahwin ngan saya bersedialah untuk makan macam orang western yer! lagipun saya tak tahan pedas! so go figure la kan! :D
